SAIL Research Lab at New York University (NYU)

Client: SAIL Research Lab at New York University (NYU) | Produced at: Brusca Designs

Transforming the Science and Integrated Language (SAIL) Research Lab at New York University (NYU), the Sail-On project included a rebrand of the SAIL Research Lab, established a visual identity for the curriculum’s fifth-grade multi-lingual science workbook series, and led the illustration and layout of all student and teacher materials.

The SAIL-On project focused on developing a professional development program for teachers to implement the SAIL curriculum and creating assessment tools to study the program’s impact on educators and English Learners (ELs). A quasi-experimental field trial in New York City public schools measured the materials’ effectiveness on teachers’ instructional practices and students’ learning outcomes.

Access materials and learn more about the project by visiting the NYU SAIL Research Lab website. The SAIL-On project is supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF Grant Award Number 2035103).
